Katrin Schulze
Senior Midwife & Early Family Specialist
About me
I have been a midwife since 2013, accompanying families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postnatal period with care, presence, and respect for each family’s unique needs. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and shaped by both clinical experience and many years of working closely with families in their homes. I value clear communication, emotional safety, and a thoughtful pace, supporting parents to feel grounded and confident during times of transition.Alongside my formal training, I have learned from traditional midwives in Guatemala and women’s health practitioners in Peru. Elements such as Rebozo work and abdominal support inform my hands-on care where appropriate, integrated within a professional and evidence-informed framework.Your needs guide our work together. My role is to offer continuity, reassurance, and steady guidance as you welcome your child.
My Services around Early Family CareI am currently refining the structure and scope of my services to meet the needs of families seeking a high level of continuity, discretion, and personalised international support.Where I WorkI work with families in person and online.
